About the Maker: 

Passed down from their grandparents, sisters, Victoria and Rachel, were drawn to creating with their hands from a young age and as adults, were fortunate enough to revisit this very essence. After settling in their jobs, they longed for a more meaningful passion to create. Subsequently, the two, were pulled into this new direction - the art of making concrete. This passion turned business was a new start for the two sisters and it was only fitting that they settled on the name "fig", meaning a new beginning. They chose the name "stone" to accentuate the earthy palette, textures, and the nature of the materials they used. Hand poured in small batches at their home studio, their aim is to bring organic textures and subtle, minimalist tones by combining different medias. Fig + stone was born out of their own passions to bring pieces into their own homes, and they believe in making a space that feels good and functional - a place of peace, a safe haven - a place that feels like home.
